  1. Maintains high visibility in the
        surrounding community and in the hospitality community as appropriate.
  2. Assists in drawing up the marketing plan
        annually with the Director of Sales and Marketing (including section on
        Corporate Accounts).
  3. Keeps a record on former, existing,
        potential clients and a profile of each of them.
  4. Organizes regular visits in accordance
        to a predetermined plan.
  5. Prepares a tentative monthly schedule to
        record all sales and other related activities for the preceding month.
  6. Presents a summary of his/her visits to
        the Director of Sales and Marketing on a weekly basis (Weekly Sales Plan)
        prior and after the week is completed.
  7. Ensures that all new clients have no
        negative credit references.
  8. Records all daily sales.
  9. Records the statistics of his/her sales
        accounts.
  10. Submits production reports on his/her list
        of accounts on a monthly basis.
  11. Keeps himself/herself well informed
        about the operations especially in key departments (Front Office,
        Housekeeping, F&B, and Banqueting etc.).
  12. Closely observes matters pertaining to
        competition (sites, prices, services offered on a regular basis -
        quarterly or more often if need be).
  13. Promotes the hotel as often as possible
        through entertaining, conducting, site inspections and presentations etc.
        of the hotel.
  14. Pays visits to former, existing and
        potential clients in view of entering into contracts with them, especially
        commercial accounts.
  15. Determines and recommends prospective
        customers by analyzing historical and other statistical information,
        participation in conducting customer interviews, and preparing customer
        call analysis reports.
  16. Defines precisely guest requirements and
        ensures that the guest services offered corresponds effectively to their
        requests.
  17. Provides after-sales service and in
        particular to ensure all guests complaints are taken seriously and
        discussed with the respective departments if necessary.
  18. Receives in the hotel any important
        guests whom he has approached.
  19. Negotiates prices with the clients.
  20. Confirms verbal proposals in writing.
  21. Ensures that all complaints are
        reviewed, investigated and follow-up action is initiated. 
  22. Solicit group, individual, banquet and
        other function business directly and jointly with other through the
        preparation and executive of action plans.
  23. Maintains a close working rapport with
        professional people, the press, media, employee, clients/guests and
        companies who are potential existing and current supporters of the hotel.

thorough knowledge of the products, including hotel rooms, type of rooms,
amenities, services of hotel, etc.



·        
Develop and
deliver knowledge about frequent guests and their special requests and needs
prior to their arrival.



·        
Be familiar with
cultural differences in order to meet all different customer needs.



·        
Be able to work
accordingly, keep constant eye on staffing level and control costs as much as
you can.



·        
Be knowledgeable
about etiquette and protocols.



·        
Be familiar with
all emergency plans and be able to act upon them.



·        
Use your PMS,
mybestwestern.com, extranets and other password related with discretion, always
log off terminal when not working.



·        
Have a good
knowledge about the city and the environment.



·        
Report any
unusual occurrences immediately to the General Manager

accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager.

acknowledge all guests according to company standards

guest using clear and professional language.

Transport
guests using property vehicle.



·        
Park vehicle in
designated location when not in use.



 



Requirement




  • Candidate
        must possess at least senior high school or equivalent.

  • Required
        language(s): English, Bahasa Indonesia

  • At
        least 1 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for
        this position.

  • Preferably
        Staff (non-management & non-supervisor)s specializing in
