Jobs Position: Wedding Coordinator

Looking for an experienced, motivated, pleasant, hard working, Event Manager/Coordinator to market, plan, and direct weddings and events. Applicant must have previous experience in at least coordinating weddings, be eager to work and grow, speak English, and be personable.

The successful candidate must be self-motivated to succeed, and be able to communicate well with clients as well as with venues, caterers, vendors, etc.

Since the position includes dealing with local vendors and clients and international clients, it is imperative that the Event Coordinator have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.


Responsibilities include:
- Handle event enquiries by phone and email promptly and professionally
- Act as a primary client contact for events, in particular weddings
- Co-ordinate timing and details with outside vendors/suppliers
- Build positive relationships with all clients and vendors
- Liaison with clients and all vendors, to ensure the clients requirements are met
- Assist with occasional off-premise event planning, venue inspection, and client meetings


General Requirements:
- Previous Work Experience in Managing or Coordinating Weddings
- Attention to detail and ability to work on several projects at one time.
- Creative – ability to express ideas with clients
- Must be willing and able to take direction from Management
- Must be pro-active and must act in the company’s best interest
- Ability to motivate best work efforts of other staff and suppliers
- Must work well with others
- Well Groomed and Presented
- Able to work the occasional evening and weekend
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in at least English and Bahasa Indonesian
- Experience in Microsoft Office, and Word
